Storms hit many areas of the South East coast Monday night leaving one dead and many injured. This is the beginning of tornado season and every year there are those who suffer loss. Let’s pray for the families that are effected that Jesus Christ will comfort and encourage them. Already relief organizations such as Samaritans Purse are on their way there to help give relief to those who are suffering. Jesus says: “He cares for you!” 1Peter 5:7
There is a serial bomber in Austin, Texas, several killed and many injured. Another bomb exploded just a few days ago. We need to pray for the safety of the people in Austin and for the capture of the bomber as soon as possible. See video: https://youtu.be/_oESslH5yhU
So many strange things are happening nowadays, that it is hard to keep up with them. The news is full of incidents such as mentioned above.
Prayer is so effective and so powerful it is the first thing we should do when we wake up in the morning. Pray for the safety of all people in this nation and for our culture to swing back to caring about the sanctity of human life.
1 Timothy 2:8 I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere.
Jesus wants us to be cared for: 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
I pray for healing peace for the families in Alabama and Austin, Texas for their losses and that You, Lord, will hear our prayers for them and that your love will cover all. In Jesus name, amen!
