FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!

But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. — Romans 5: 15-21
Even though there is chaos, confusion and anarchy rampant in our nation today, Jesus Christ, by His grace is ready and willing to give you His free gift of eternal life!
Today slavery is a very hot topic amongst the BLM (Black Lives Matter). The BLM is protesting slavery and anything or anybody connected with owning slaves. In the United States slavery was abolished in 1862.
“The Emancipation Proclamation, or Proclamation 95, was a presidential proclamation and executive order issued by United States President Abraham Lincoln on September 22, 1862, during the Civil War.” Wikipedia
The first time slavery is mentioned in the Bible the whole nation of Israel were slaves of Egypt. (Leviticus 26:13)There are still all kinds of slaves in the world today. Human trafficking is the worst of the lot!
What does Jesus have to say about this slavery? First we must realize how slavery in the Church came about. Jesus first teaches us that we are baptized into the body of Christ (the Church)!
Romans 6:3-5 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection.
When Jesus died on the cross He conquered death and death does not have power over the body of Christ (the Church). Jesus shed His blood so that all the worlds’ sins are forgiven past present and future. Those who have repented and surrendered to Christ and confessed that they are sinners and receive the free gift of grace from Him are no longer under bondage or shackled in slavery to sin but have eternal life.
Romans 6: 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9-10 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.
22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.
God created man for a very high calling to be His children forever. Wouldn’t you rather want to receive the free gift of Jesus Christ than to be burned in Hell? Get on your knees now and ask Jesus to come into our life and if you are really sincere He will give you the gift of eternal life!
I try to follow Christ and not put myself in front of Him and ask Him to bless everything I want to do. I pray that Jesus shows me the plan He has for me to follow for it is sure that I can do nothing without Him. (John 15:5) So far I have spent 68 years with Jesus and it is almost a lifetime. The years of my life are getting very short and I hope and pray that I helped people to know Christ. I believe that that is the highest level of service I can achieve in the plan that God has for me while I am still in this corruptible body. God tells me in the bible that I will see Jesus as He is and I will be as He is. (1 John 3:2) What a wonderful hope that is. Many people become broken and mourn for their loved ones who die and that is OK. (Ecclesiastes 3:4) But I have a promise from God that I have eternal life in me and my citizenship is already in heaven and this old corruptible body will return to the dust of the ground but my inward body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit will remain for eternity. (2 Corinthians 4:16) To leave this temporary physical life and be with Christ is the greatest hope of all. I look forward to it! What a blessing and what a great day that will be. I look forward to meeting all of you in that tomorrow world!
From the first book to the last book of the Bible God reveals light to a dark world. He created light in the creation week when He said: “Let there be light!” Obviously, it was very dark. We also find throughout the scriptures the God talks about another Light, a Light that can only come from God. When God created man He did not reveal His Light to them. From Adam to this day, man lives in darkness and is subject to the system of this world and the king of this world is Satan the Devil. Revelation 12:9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world. Ephesians 2:2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience. God created the heavens and the earth and created man to inhabit the earth. Isaiah 45:12 I have made the earth, and created man upon it: 18 God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited.
When Jesus came down to the earth and took on the flesh and blood form of a man, He introduced the gospel of the Kingdom of God to mankind. Jesus preached that the Kingdom of God has come. Mark 1: 14-15 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Jesus also has a certain light for man! John 1:4-5 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Man rebels against the light and doesn’t understand what is revealed by it. But Jesus wants man to know He came to bring light and salvation and that He is the light of the whole world. To make it possible for man to receive that light, Jesus shed His blood by dying on the cross, was in the grave for three days and arose to life on the third day and ascended to the throne of God in heaven. Jesus did all this to wipe out all sins of mankind forever, past, present, and future. Isaiah 9:2 The people who walked in darkness Have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a light has shined. Jesus wants everyone to be saved and when you accept Jesus as your savior, you will be that light! Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. Now you are in Christ and Jesus says to let your light shine to the rest of the world.
WILL YOU DO THAT?
Colossians 3:1 Seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
8 Put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.
Do not let these things rule you because of political, social, or cultural leanings put them to death as it says in verse 5.
If you want all these things to be better, be better than the things you want to be better. Now we reach the crux of the matter! You cannot do it alone. Man is not able! But with God all things are possible.
Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Humble yourself before God and confess that you are a sinner and He will look down and see and hear.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Confess your sins now and your life will change. All the heaviness of discouragement, sadness, and helplessness will be a thing of the past. You will feel something you never felt before. FREEDOM! Receive total freedom from the shackles of sin and the constant pull of Satan the Devil who wants you to stay in this worlds system that he controls.
JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY ANSWER! ACCEPT HIM NOW!
The blessings of the love of God are upon you, in Jesus name, amen!
There is only twenty nine more days to Easter! This is a good time to ask why Easter is so important. Is it special to you or is it just another religious day to be observed? Easter has an important message for everyone, whether they attend church or not. Those who have been raised in a Christian home have known about Easter all their lives but many people do not know what Easter is all about and what it means to them. So why do we observe it? Is there a special message about Easter?
Easter is a time when we give special worship to Jesus Christ for something He did! We celebrate Easter because it gives us assurance that when we die we will go to heaven to be with Jesus. Jesus did something very special after He was crucified on the cross. He had been buried in the tomb for three days and then rose again to life and ascended to the throne of God. Our Savior lives!
John 10:15, 17-18, As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”
Jesus had the power to lay His life down and take it back up again. He specifically came to the earth to take on the flesh of a man for this enormously important purpose.
The Apostle Paul explains why He had to rise from the grave! Jesus was the most valuable to the Father so He was the only one who could do what He did! He conquered death and made it possible for mankind to be resurrected to eternal life. He became the first born!
Romans 8:29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
By His unselfish act of dying for us on the cross and then rising from the dead, Christ made it possible for us to live for eternity. His resurrection confirms our resurrection to be assured. That is how important it is!
1 Corinthians 15:3-4, 14, 20, For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. But now Christ is risen from the dead!
Read 1Corintians 15 and be filled with the Truth of God what Easter is all about! When Sunday, April 1, 2018, gets here, make it a point to attend a church service near you and celebrate this most important occasion in all our lives.
Dear heavenly Father, please hear my prayer for all who are lost without Jesus in their lives. I pray that you will convict the hearts of those who read this Easter message and bring them to understanding of the Truth of salvation through Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus, amen!
By His stripes you are healed! He shed His blood so your sins would be forgiven! You are the ones who are sinners and deserve to die but Jesus willingly took your place and died for you! He was in the tomb for three days and rose on the third day, resurrected to life and ascended to the throne of God in heaven and lives ruling over all things.
ETERNAL LIFE MEANS ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED OR THERE WOULD BE NO ETERNAL LIFE!
UNDERSTAND THAT ETERNAL LIFE IS NOT ETERNAL LIFE IF IT IS NOT ETERNAL LIFE!
The Bible always explains itself and reveals to our hearts what God wants us to know.
"He brought me to his banquet hall and raised the banner of love over me. Restore my strength with raisins and refresh me with apples! I am weak from passion... His left hand is under my head and his right hand caresses me" - Song of Solomon 2:4-6
