THE TOMORROW WORLD WITH CHRIST

I try to follow Christ and not put myself in front of Him and ask Him to bless everything I want to do. I pray that Jesus shows me the plan He has for me to follow for it is sure that I can do nothing without Him. (John 15:5) So far I have spent 68 years with Jesus and it is almost a lifetime. The years of my life are getting very short and I hope and pray that I helped people to know Christ. I believe that that is the highest level of service I can achieve in the plan that God has for me while I am still in this corruptible body. God tells me in the bible that I will see Jesus as He is and I will be as He is. (1 John 3:2) What a wonderful hope that is. Many people become broken and mourn for their loved ones who die and that is OK. (Ecclesiastes 3:4) But I have a promise from God that I have eternal life in me and my citizenship is already in heaven and this old corruptible body will return to the dust of the ground but my inward body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit will remain for eternity. (2 Corinthians 4:16) To leave this temporary physical life and be with Christ is the greatest hope of all. I look forward to it! What a blessing and what a great day that will be.  I look forward to meeting all of you in that tomorrow world!

WHAT IS EASTER TO YOU?

In about three weeks a celebration of a very special event in life of Jesus Christ takes place.
Just about everyone in this nation knows about Easter, but for a lot of different reasons. Some people are glad to see it because it represents another weekend when they can go camping or some other pleasurable thing. To some others it is a day that they do not understand why people make such a fuss about. And then there are the believers in Jesus Christ who celebrate His resurrection from the dead and His ascension to heaven. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most important and dramatic event to take place for his believers. The reason is simple for them to understand because it defines who they are and that their belief is something that is genuine because if it did not happen then everything Christians believe in is a lie and there is no such thing as eternal life in heaven and Jesus is not the Son of God.
But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen.  And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up — if in fact the dead do not rise. For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! —1 Corinthians 15: 13-17
Much of the world does not know nor believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ but those who do believe know that Christ has indeed risen from the dead and sets on the throne of God in heaven. The resurrection of Christ represents the greatest event in the history of mankind.
But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. — 1 Corinthians 15: 20-24
Those who believe in the resurrection of Christ possess the greatest hope and future for mankind. They will inherit great blessings. They will have eternal life, a new body, new name, new home, a great reward, share God’s glory and share the very throne of Jesus Christ.
But someone will say, “How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?” But God gives it a body as He pleases — 1 Corinthians 15:35, 38
So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” ” O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. — ! Corinthians 15: 54-57
Those who are not Christians do not have any hope in anything except what happens today and tomorrow will take care of its self. They are already dead. Christians have eternal life dwelling in them at this moment and God gave them His holy spirit as a guarantee that this is true.
1 Corinthians 6: 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
Easter is a time to give praise and glory to Jesus for He is alive and has risen from the dead that we may also be resurrected to eternal life. It is through Jesus Christ that we are saved, He is the way, the truth, and the life.

Call upon His name now and you shall be saved!

THE TEARS OF JESUS

Jesus raised Lazurus from the dead.

Jesus cries over us everyday as He looks upon mankind and desires that we join with Him and not live in poverty, sickness and disease or war with one another in hatred toward their neighbors. Evil abounds in the world and love turns cold. And all this is not necessary, but mankind refuses to accept that there is a God who loves them and continue to send emissaries from nation to nation to decide what is going to happen to billions of people here on earth because they think they know what is best for them. They covet their power too much and will destroy themselves to try to keep it.

(Luke 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!)

Jesus loves all people and created all things for people to enjoy. He meant for all to have all His blessings in great abundance. Jesus doesn’t want anything bad for anyone. Jesus laid it all out for all to see and decide for them selves whether to live in peace, have everything they need in abundance, have good health, be happy and literally live forever. Read what He taught and see for your selves. Jesus offers perfection, utopia, and royalty to those who will believe on Him.

(2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work) (Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.)

Jesus came to this earth and gave His life so that we could have all things that He created and prepared for us. How much greater love and concern can one have for another than to give one’s life for them so they can have blessings beyond understanding? Why would anyone think that believing in Jesus is bad for them? What fault do you find in a God who wants to give you everything?

(3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.)

Just like Jesus wept over the death of His friend Lazurus before He raised him from the dead, Jesus weeps over us today because of His great love for us and He wants to raise us up from the dead and give us eternal life with Him.
